On Wednesday, it was confirmed that CNN fired a senior producer who was part of the Jake Tapper show. The 10-year-old veteran at the network lost his job after details of his affair with a subordinate were revealed. He has worked alongside Jeff Zucker, who was fired for his relationship with another top executive, Allison Gollust. Federico Quadrani was facing another investigation before he was fired for inappropriate behavior.
The executive producer had reportedly hooked up with two staff from CNN, one of whom was a senior producer. He had been fired on Friday, according to several reports. A source told Page Six that that there had been complaints for a while but there had been no proof against him.

The outlet also reported that Jake Tapper was aware of the investigation. A second source said that someone had discovered something and had brought it to Jake’s attention, on Wednesday. The 53-year-old host couldn’t ignore it, acted quickly, and delivered it to human resources, who fired the executive producer.
Federico Quadrani relocated to Washington DC in 2013 when he became an executive producer for CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper.” Earlier, he was in New York with MSNBC. Some CNN staffers were also reportedly shocked by the carelessness of the executive producer as it’s been just a year since their top honcho Jeff Zucker had to leave the network for a similar offense. Quadrani is said to be in his fifties, is married and lived in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife Elena.
