Michael Burham, a Pennsylvania prisoner who escaped, reportedly used a gap in a chain link fence to access the leisure area of the facility.
Burham, 34, escaped from Warren County Prison on Thursday evening, sparking a major manhunt in the neighborhood. He has a reputation for being a military trained “survivalist” who can survive the environment and hide. Despite claims that the prison does not have a staffing shortfall, police said that the prison’s leisure area, which is located on the roof, has security cameras but no guards. According to reports, Burham was housed in the cell alongside three other prisoners.
