Lamar Wilkerson scored 19 of his 23 points in the first half as Indiana took command early and recorded an 81-60 victory over visiting Siena on Monday night in Bloomington, Ind.

Indiana (10-3) ended nonconference play by taking a double-digit lead a little over three minutes in and earned its second straight double-digit win.

Tucker DeVries posted a double-double of 16 and 11 rebounds while Tayton Conerway finished with 16. Nick Dorn contributed 11 as the Hoosiers shot 46% and sank 9-of-24 3s after making 15-of-46 attempts in Saturday’s 20-point win over Chicago State.

Sam Alexis added eight and six rebounds as Indiana held a 41-29 edge on the glass. The Hoosiers also had 16 fastbreak points and converted 11 layups and dunks.

Francis Folefac led Siena with a career-high 19 points and Gavin Doty added 16. The Saints shot 33.3% and misfired on 17 of 20 3-point tries while finishing with their second-fewest point total this season.

Indiana scored the first 11 points and took command in the opening 2 1/2 minutes. Wilkerson sank a 3 and hit two free throws on consecutive trips for an 18-3 lead with 12:35 left .

Dorn’s triple extended the lead to 38-18 with a little under five minutes left and the Hoosiers held a 46-20 lead by halftime after scoring the final eight points.

Consecutive baskets by Doty sliced Siena’s deficit to 15 with about 11 minutes left but Indiana made four straight shots and pushed the lead to 65-42 on a difficult layup by Conerway with 8:53 left.

The Hoosiers finished it off when Sam Alexis dunked off an alley-oop with 4:51 left for a 74-52 advantage.
