Moscow police department has mentioned on social media about an ongoing lawsuit against a TikToker as it continues its investigation of the murders of four students. The deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin, and Xana Kernodle, gripped the country since November.
The group was found fatally stabbed in an off-campus residence near the University of Idaho, and the Moscow Police Department launched an investigation. Police have not named any suspects or publicly announced the identities of anyone arrested in connection with the case.
Texas-based internet detective, Ashley Guillard, has claimed that a professor at the University of Idaho is responsible for the horrific murders of the four students. Rebecca Scofield, associate professor and chair of the history department at the University of Idaho, recently filed a lawsuit against her. Allegedly without any evidence, Guillard has claimed that Scofield perpetrated the killings with another student as Goncalves was trying to break up with her and ‘keep from making the relationship public.’

Guillard is also a tarot card reader who claims she can solve crimes in her videos. She claims on her profile that she also solved the murders of rappers Kirshnik Khari Ball, Shanquella Robinson, Takeoff, and Kevin Samuels.
Scofield is suing Guillard for failing to remove the videos in which the detective claims the professor planned the murders because she was dating Kayla Goncalves. The statements made about the professor “are false, plain and simple,” said Scofield’s attorney in an interview. He said that the safety of the professor and her family is jeopardized because there have been such false statements.
Despite police claims that there is no connection, Guillard refuses to back down. According to her lawsuit, in numerous videos posted by Guillard, she accuses Scofield of being “responsible for the deaths of the four students.” The TikTok true crime sleuth told NewsNation that when she goes to court and the world sees evidence and how connects the dots, then a decision will be made. Sleuth and fans of criminal cases are closely following the case.
Scofield was reportedly working on the Gay Rodeo Oral History Project at the time the profile was written. Slapping Leather: Sport and Performance at the Gay Rodeo is another book Scofield is working on. Harvard University awarded the professor a doctorate in philosophy. While police have asked the public for information and assistance in solving the murder, they have also issued a warning about misinformation.
