Mario Fernandez Saldana, the spouse of Jared Bridegan’s ex-wife, has been arrested for allegedly planning the executive’s murder. The Ex-wife’s new spouse now the 2nd man charged with murdering Microsoft executive in ambush. Jared Bridegan was driving home in February 2022 when he stopped to pick up a tire in the middle of the road.
The Microsoft executive who was just 33 years old was then shot and killed in an execution-style manner as his 2-year-old daughter sat alone in the back seat. Authorities in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, earlier stated that Bridegan had taken out three of his children for a typical weekly supper on Feb. 16, 2022, before he dropped off his 9-year-old twins at his ex-wife’s home. Coming home with his 2-year-old daughter in the rear of his SUV, he stumbled across a tire in a dark part of Sanctuary Boulevard.
Investigators suspect someone put it there with the intent of making him stop. According to Jacksonville Beach Police Chief Gene Paul Smith, Bridegan opened his SUV door, maybe to remove the tire.
Authorities in Florida apprehended the alleged hitman who they said carried out that fatal shooting earlier this year.
“This is a capital felony punishable by death or mandatory life in prison,” State Attorney Melissa Nelson said last Thursday.
Henry Tenon has entered a guilty plea to a charge of second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.
