Today according to the Hollywood Reporter, Howard joined the film two days after Lord and Miller were sensationally fired over “creative differences” with the film’s producers Lucasfilm.
Lucasfilm is pleased to announce that Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ron Howard has been named director of the untitled Han Solo film.
