Terry, a redshirt senior who missed last season with a leg injury, was 7-for-12 from the floor for the Yellow Jackets, who were 31 for 53 from the field in their third straight victory.

The Yellow Jackets (8-7, 2-2 ACC) also got 14 points from Baye Ndongo, 11 points and five rebounds from Duncan Powell, and 10 points and 10 assists from Naithan George. Ibrahim Souare came off the bench to get six rebounds and four blocks.

Boston College (9-6, 1-3) was led by Chad Venning with 19 points and eight rebounds and Elijah Strong with 16 points and six rebounds.

Georgia Tech was terrific in the opening half for the second straight game. The Yellow Jackets, who shot 61 percent from the field and 4-for-9 on 3 pointers against Notre Dame on Tuesday, followed up by shooting 60.7 percent and 7-for-11 on 3s against Boston College.

Georgia Tech used a 14-2 run late in the first half and took a 40-24 lead on Powell’s third 3-pointer with 3:53 remaining. The Yellow Jackets outrebounded Boston College 17-11 and limited the Eagles to two offensive rebounds. Tech led 44-31 at the break.

The Yellow Jackets didn’t let up in the second half and built a 20-point lead at 61-41 with 12:56 remaining. Boston College, which overcame a 19-point deficit to beat Miami on Wednesday, was unable to get closer than 18.
