Graham Ike poured in 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds, Tyon Grant-Foster posted 14 points and 12 rebounds, and No. 19 Gonzaga pulled away for a 77-65 victory over Arizona State on Friday in Tempe, Ariz.

Adam Miller, who spent the previous two seasons with Arizona State, scored 10 points in 20 minutes for the Bulldogs (4-0).

Maurice Odum registered a team-leading 12 points for Arizona State (2-1), and Santiago Trouet amassed 10 points and 11 rebounds. Massamba Diop and Bryce Ford each scored 11 points, and Anthony Johnson had 10. The Sun Devils have now lost their last 12 games vs. top-20 opponents.

The Bulldogs were playing on the road for the first time this season, but they looked at home early on. Gonzaga went on a 13-0 run to build a 30-20 lead. The four-minute stretch included a fastbreak layup by Jalen Warley and a 3-pointer by Steele Venters.

After a layup by Santiago Trouet ended Arizona State’s drought, the Bulldogs had another 6-0 spurt, and they ultimately went into halftime leading 45-32 after a dunk by Ike in the closing seconds.

The Sun Devils didn’t go away quietly, though.

Arizona State chipped away at the deficit in the second half, pulling within 49-44 on a 3-pointer by Ford with 13:14 left. But the Sun Devils could never close the gap to one possession.

Gonzaga put the game out of reach with an 8-0 run, taking a 59-45 lead with nine minutes left. That run started with a 3-pointer by Emmanuel Innocenti and included three free throws by Ike.

Ike scored 12 of his 20 points at the free-throw line.

For the game, Gonzaga had an inside advantage, winning the rebounding battle 45-31 and outscoring Arizona State in points in the paint 32-22. The Bulldogs finished shooting 43.1% from the field but just 28.6% (6-for-21) from 3-point range.

The Sun Devils shot 36.2% from the field and 33.3% (10-for-30) from deep.
