On Tuesday, Google announced its final quarter results and they were impressive. The tech giant reported a high revenue of $75.33 billion, most of it was earned through advertisements. The advertising business carries other components along as they lose money. The company has earned approximately $21 billion in profit. Alphabet, the parent company of Google, performed way better than what was predicted by Wall Street.

When Sundar Pichai was on the company’s earnings call, he impressed analysts by saying that their deep investment in AI technologies had continued to drive “extraordinary and helpful experiences for people and businesses” across their most important products.

Pichai explained how AI improved all its products. Most of us can say that we have often used several products from Google, once if not several times in our lives. Some of these products or services include Search, Maps and YouTube.

He also explained how AI and machine learning helped Google deliver “extraordinary and helpful experiences” and that was also what made Google successful. Google is not only successful because it is the largest platform in the world for advertising but it is also successful as its services are “helpful” to people.

Google adds value to people’s lives. It makes it easier to find information. So many of its services are used on a daily basis by both individuals and businesses. Some of them include the following:

GMail is used by both individuals as well as small businesses.
Google Search engine is the most frequently used tool for all kinds of personal as well as professional information. It is the “go to” search engine for billions.
Google Maps are used to navigate in almost all countries around the world. Ride hailing services also use Maps to pick and drop passengers from and to destinations.
YouTube is not only for entertainment but also has channels for health, education, information, tutorials and more.

Google offers something for everyone on the planet. Just as Walmart can be considered as everything retail, Google can be considered as everything tech.
