The Spengler family decides to leave Summerville, Oklahoma and return to the famous New York City firehouse, where it all began, in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. There, they will assist the original Ghostbusters, who have established a top-secret research facility to take ghost-busting to the next level! To defend their planet and prevent a second Ice Age, Ghostbusters old and new must band together after discovering an ancient artifact unleashes an evil power.
In the ensemble cast, Paul Rudd takes on the role of Gary Grooberson. At the same time, Carrie Coon portrays Callie Spengler, and Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace embody Trevor and Phoebe Spengler, respectively. Kumail Nanjiani appears as Nadeem Razmaadi, alongside Patton Oswalt as Dr. Hubert Wartzki. Celeste O’Connor plays Lucky Domingo, Logan Kim is Podcast, and Bill Murray returns as Dr. Peter Venkman. The iconic trio of the original Ghostbusters includes Dan Aykroyd as Dr. Raymond “Ray” Stantz, Ernie Hudson as Dr. Winston Zeddemore, and Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz. William Atherton reprises his role as Walter Peck and James Acaster appears as Lars Pinfield.
