Justice has been served. Jeffrey Epstein’s partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous partner Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years in prison. She has been in solitary confinement for 22 months at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center in New York. Today, many of the victims are expected to speak at the sentencing hearing for sex trafficking minor girls for Jeffrey Epstein.
Maxwell, who was a British socialite, is now 60 years old. She was convicted on six counts of felonies, including sex trafficking of a minor, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. Also included were three related counts of conspiracy. She was acquitted on one charge, which was enticing a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts.
Today, Maxwell is to be sentenced on only three counts because Judge Alison Nathan agreed two of the conspiracy counts she faced were duplicative.

Before the sentencing occurs, victims will have the chance to make impact statements to be read to the court. The judge has granted requests from eight women to appear in court or submit a written statement.
Jail just doesn’t sit well with Ghislaine Maxwell standards. She has made over 100 complaints since she has been in jail. She has complained about being surveilled in the shower and body cavity and strip searches. Ghislaine Maxwell wants to serve her prison time in the UK to due to claims of inhuman conditions and treatment at the Brooklyn prison, her family says.
Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to state prostitution charges and was indicted on federal sex trafficking charges in July 2019. Later in the month he dies by suicide in prison hanging himself
