Starbucks is not known for giving its customers free offers, except during certain times such as the holiday season. Starbucks has offered its customers free hot chocolate on weekends in December as well as Festive Thursdays-Yays. Customers have to buy Starbucks products to get the weekend offer in December or become Rewards members to get the Thursday offer.
There are only two valid weekends left in December. So, it might be time to avail of the offer on December 23/24 and December 30/31 at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S. The coffee and beverage chain is offering a free short hot chocolate when customers buy a grande or larger handcrafted drink on Saturdays and Sundays in December.

Hot Chocolate Cheer Weekends is not the only offer from Starbucks as of now. It has also introduced Festive Thurs-Yays. Starbucks Rewards members get half on a drink on as you guessed it right—Thursdays in December and there are two left in the month—21 and 28.
A 50 percent discount is available on all its handcrafted drinks. It also includes new additions to its holiday beverage menu.
Last month, Starbucks introduced a new holiday drink called Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. As it name suggests, it is a combination of oat milk with black tea and also contains a spice combination of cinnamon and other “warming spices.”
Many beverages are available on Starbucks’s holiday menu, including its classic Peppermint Mocha. The beverage chain has also brought back an old favorite. This is the first time that Gingerbread Latte has been available since 2019.
Starbucks stores that create and serve Oleato drinks (made with olive oil) will serve Oleato Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte as their first Oleato holiday drink.
