Reservations are open for the Edition1 GMC Hummer on the GM website. This pickup is an all-electric one and is powered by proprietary EV drive units. GMC Hummer EV chief engineer Al Oppenheiser said, “It’s an absolute off-road beast with a unique e4WD drive system that provides maneuverability unlike anything GM has offered before.” It will be manufactured at ZERO, GM’s factory in Detroit and will be available by Fall 2021.

Some of the standard features available for this price include hands-free super cruise technology and can charge almost 100 miles in 10 minutes. It will go from 0 to 60 in approximately 3 seconds An Infinity Roof will enable open air driving, The interior will be sophisticated and luxurious with a 13.4” diagonal infotainment screen. A 12.3” diagonal driver information center display will be present for safety and utility. The Hummer will also have a Multi-Pro Tailgate that shows six functional positions.
This magnificent pickup will also contain an automatic lane change feature that will look at optimal maneuvering, keeping in mind signaling protocols. It will travel approximately 350 miles on full charge. Proprietary CRABWALK four-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, Goodyear Wrangler All Territory MT tires, underbody armor, UltraVision front and rear cameras and off-road widgets are some of the additional features.
