The Thursday release said that the healthcare giant would use e-commerce solutions such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q Developer, and Amazon SageMaker.
GE Healthcare and Amazon Web Services will create “purpose-built foundation models and generative artificial intelligence (AI) applications designed to help clinicians improve medical diagnostics and patient care.”
GE also said it would use Amazon Bedrock to build its generative AI applications. Healthcare companies will use these apps to increase efficiency and care.
The CEO of AWS, Matt Garman, said that GE Healthcare was “putting generative AI at the heart of their innovation” and more. Garman also noted that their company has created “healthcare-specific cloud services and generative AI capabilities” that offer secure data privacy and “access to the latest state-of-the-art foundation models.”
A massive amount of clinical data is available, but doctors and clinicians cannot tap this treasure trove of information.
