Rudy Giuliani, a politician and lawyer who served as the Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001, has been accused of sexual harassment by a former employee. According to court papers, Giuliani allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct by pressuring his former business consultant to perform oral sex on him while he was on a speaker phone call with Donald Trump. The papers claim that Giuliani had an ulterior motive for this behavior, as it made him feel similar to Bill Clinton.
The accuser, Noelle Dunphy, was hired by Giuliani’s firm in 2019 when he was working as Trump’s personal lawyer. Dunphy filed a lawsuit in New York state seeking $10 million in damages from the 78-year-old. She alleges that Giuliani forced her to have sexual relations with him and created a hostile work environment.

According to Dunphy, he was frequently intoxicated, abusive, and boasted about his ability to break laws. Additionally, she claims that Giuliani demanded she work from his apartment and required her to be naked, wear a bikini, or short shorts with an American flag on them, which he had purchased for her. Dunphy also alleges that Giuliani would excessively contact her through calls and text messages.
Dunphy states that she was emotionally vulnerable as a domestic violence victim when Giuliani hired her as the director of business development for the Giuliani Companies. She held this position for two years. The lawsuit further asserts that Giuliani exposed himself, regularly used Viagra, and insisted that fulfilling his sexual demands was a job requirement. Dunphy also recorded conversations with Giuliani that contained explicit sexual remarks and demands, as well as racist, sexist, and antisemitic comments.
Furthermore, Dunphy is suing Giuliani for wage theft, claiming that he failed to pay her the promised $1 million salary for her role. Giuliani allegedly justified this by stating that her payment needed to be deferred until his divorce was finalized. In reality, he only paid her $12,000, citing the ongoing divorce as the reason for the low payment, she reportedly said.

A spokesperson for Giuliani vehemently denies the allegations, calling them pure harassment and an attempt at extortion. They emphasize Giuliani’s lifetime of public service and state that he will pursue all available remedies and counterclaims.
