Hershey is facing a lawsuit for $5 billion according to reports for misleading advertisements on its fall and winter Reese’s chocolates. A Florida woman sued the chocolate maker saying that its advertisements are false as many of the actual sweet treats did not have details that were shown in the packaging. The lawsuit listed the products that had misleading details when compared with the actual products inside the packaging and submitted photos and links to show the lack of details. Web fans are divided about the suit.
Cynthia Kelly from Florida filed a lawsuit against Delaware-based The Hershey Company in the Middle District Court in the Sunshine State on Thursday. The suit listed the following popular products

The lawsuit details issues with the fall and winter-related Reese’s treats and calls the labels “materially misleading” and more. It has several photos that compare the product photos on the package with the actual shapes inside.
Delray Beach-based attorney Anthony J Russo has also included links to videos made by content creators on YouTube. These creators complain that there is insufficient detailing on the chocolates.
Cynthia Kelly says that the disparities in the packaging had harmed thousands of people. She wants the chocolate maker to pay a financial penalty. She also wants the judge to rule that the company has to correct its packaging. The case will appear before Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell.
