Celebrity rapper Drake is extremely popular and is also known to have his favorite sportspersons. However, some of his fans believe that there is what is called a supposed “Drake Curse.” Fans say that finalist sportsperson or teams whom Drake supports publicly end up losing their game or match. Drake recently posted a video showing his support for Messi and Leo’s team Argentina and some fans are worried.
There was a short clip on social media with rapper Drake wearing a jersey of the Italian team Napoli. The rapper says, “I take Argentina, he takes France.” The video appears to have been shot in a studio. The friend has not as yet been identified. There’s just a day to go before Argentina meets France in the FIFA World Cup, on Sunday.
This clip has driven some fans crazy as they bring up the “Drake Curse”, which reportedly means that whomsoever the rapper supports, the sportsperson or team will lose their game or match. Although this has happened in the past, it is not one hundred percent accurate.

In the recent FIFA Cup the Canadian team that looks up to its Canadian born rapper and the rapper who also supports his home team were devastated as Canada faced a complete rout in the 2022 FIFA Cup. This also lead to comments on the ‘Drake Curse’ by footballers and other fans.
