Forward Otto Porter Jr. announced his retirement from the NBA after 11 seasons.

He made the announcement on Monday after he was waived by the Utah Jazz.

“For the past 11 years, I had the chance to live my lifelong dream of playing in the NBA,” said Porter, who won a title in 2022 with the Golden State Warriors. “That dream was capped by winning an NBA Championship! Unfortunately, my body is not allowing me to play at the level that I expect of myself, and I have therefore decided to retire.”

Porter, 30, never played for the Jazz after he averaged 2.6 points with 1.9 rebounds in 15 games (one start) for the Raptors this season.

In 11 NBA seasons, Porter averaged 10.3 points with 4.9 rebounds in 527 games (319 starts) for the Washington Wizards (2013-19), Chicago Bulls (2019-21), Orlando Magic (2020-21), Golden State Warriors (2021-22) and Raptors.

Porter was included in the Feb. 8 trade, along with Kira Lewis Jr. and a first-round draft pick, that sent Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji to the Raptors.
