Xtreme Gaming pulled off a sweep of Team Falcons on Saturday to earn a berth in the Dota PGL Wallachia Season 1 grand final.

The Falcons were dropped into the lower bracket final and will face a red-hot Team Spirit team on Sunday. Spirit won four straight maps over two matches on Saturday in their run through the lower bracket.

The Falcons-Spirit winner will take on Xtreme later Sunday for the tournament title and the $300,000 top prize. The grand final will be best-of-five instead of best-of-three.

The $1 million Dota 2 event started with 16 teams in a modified Swiss-system group stage. The top eight teams began the double-elimination playoffs on Thursday, while the bottom eight were eliminated.

The runner-up will pocket $175,000 and the third-place finisher gets $120,000.

Playing on green in both maps, the all-Chinese Xtreme side defeated the Falcons in 43 and 37 minutes, led by Wang “Ame” Chunyu with a kills-deaths-assists ratio of 7.5-4.5-10.5.

Spirit’s run concluded with a 2-0 win over G2 x iG in the lower bracket semifinal. The Spirit won their first map on green in 43 minutes, then clinched on red in 42 minutes. Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov of Russia finished with a 10.0-1.5-3.5 KDA ratio for the winners.

In the lower bracket quarterfinals, Spirit played red in both maps and swept BOOM Esports in 44 and 28 minutes. In the other quarterfinal, G2 x iG pulled off a lengthy sweep of Team Liquid, winning both maps on red in 55 and 67 minutes.
