Tundra Esports, Team Liquid and Aurora Gaming each won for the second straight day to open Group Stage 2 of DreamLeague Season 28 with 2-0 records on Sunday.

Xtreme Gaming also came away with a victory to bounce back from an opening loss to improve to 1-1 and move into a tie for fourth place on the second of seven consecutive days of play in this stage.

The $1 million Dota 2 event featured 16 teams, starting in a round-robin stage split into two groups of eight teams. All series consisted of two games, and the top four teams from each group advanced to Group Stage 2, a single round robin featuring best-of-three matches from Feb. 21-27.

From there, four teams will compete in a double-elimination playoff bracket Feb. 28-March 1 with best-of-three matches until the grand final, which will be best-of-five.

The championship team will receive $250,000 in prize money and a $40,000 club reward. The runner-up side will get $100,000 and a $30,000 club reward.

Tundra swept PARIVISION 2-0 with a 55-minute victory on red and a 47-minute win on green. Neta “33” Shapira of Israel led Tundra with a 9.0-3.5-11.0 average kills-deaths-assists differential.

Liquid swept BetBoom Team with a 37-minute win on red followed by a 30-minute win on green. Poland’s Michal “Nisha” Jankowski led Team Liquid with a 10.5-0.5-12.5 differential.

Aurora also won in a sweep, beating Team Falcons with a pair of wins on green in 43 and 42 minutes. Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko of Russia led the win with a 17.0-1.5-12.5 differential.

In what was not the most competitive day of action, Xtreme Gaming also won in a sweep, beating MOUZ in 33 minutes on green and 39 minutes on red. Wang “Ame” Chunyu of China led the charge for Xtreme with a 12.0-0.5-12.5 differential.
