PARIVISION advanced to Sunday’s grand final, where it will await the winner of Team Liquid and Tundra Esports in the PGL Wallachia Season 4 playoffs in Bucharest, Romania.
Sixteen teams started the $1 million Dota 2 tournament, with the top eight qualifying for the playoffs. All matches are best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final, where the winners will take home $300,000.
PARIVISION downed Team Liquid 2-1 in the upper-bracket final on Saturday, winning in 38 minutes on green, falling in 51 minutes on red and taking the third map in 28 minutes on green. PARIVISION’s Volodymyr “No(o)ne-” Minenko of Ukraine averaged a 6.7-4.7-13.3 kills-deaths-assists ratio. Michal “Nisha’ Jankowski of Poland paced Team Liquid with a 9-4.3-6 K-D-A average.
Tundra Esports defeated Aurora Gaming 2-1 in the lower-bracket quarterfinals. Tundra won in 59 minutes on red, lost in 40 minutes on green and won in 34 minutes on green. Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov of Bulgaria averaged a K-D-A of 9.3-4.3-12.7 for Tundra. Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko of Russia had a K-D-A average of 9.7-2-8.3 for Aurora.
Team Tidebound swept Team Spirit 2-0 in the other lower-bracket quarterfinal, winning in 42 minutes on green and 33 minutes on red. Lin “planet” Hao of China averaged a K-D-A of 7-2-22 for Team Tidebound.
Tundra Esports got past Team Tidebound 2-1 in the lower-bracket semifinal, winning the first map in 35 minutes on red, losing in 55 minutes on red and winning in 35 minutes on red. Remco “Crystallis” Arets of the Netherlands averaged a K-D-A of 12-1.7-12.3 for Tundra. Tidebound’s “planet” averaged 3-8.7-9.3.
