Team Falcons and PARIVISION each polished off undefeated runs through Group Stage 1 on Wednesday to secure their respective groups at the DreamLeague Season 24 event.

Both squads went unbeaten in seven matches during the four-day opening stage, which featured two groups of eight teams competing round-robin style in two-game sets. PARIVISION notched three wins and four ties overall to clinch Group A, while Falcons finished with five victories and two ties to claim Group B.

Xtreme Gaming (1-0-6) was the only other unblemished squad in Group A and finished in third place behind Team Liquid (3-1-3). Team Waska and Tundra Esports both went 3-0-4 to tie for second place in Group B.

The top four teams from each group advance to Group Stage 2, which begins Friday and runs through Nov. 7. All matches in the lone round-robin group will be best-of-three. The two best squads will land in the upper bracket of the playoffs, the third- and fourth-place teams will head to the lower bracket of the playoffs and the remaining four teams will be eliminated.

The playoffs, which start Nov. 9, will feature a double-elimination bracket. All matches are best-of-three aside from the best-of-five grand final on Nov. 10. The winner will take home $300,000 of the $1 million prize pool.

BetBoom Team (2-1-4) finished in fourth place in Group A, while Team Spirit (3-1-3) earned the final qualifying spot in Group B.

Both Falcons and PARIVISION followed 2-0 wins in their first match Wednesday with 1-1 draws.

Falcons swept Azure Ray with a pair of victories on red, the first coming in 41 minutes and the second in 34. “Malr1ne” of Russia had 13 kills and zero deaths for Falcons on the second map and finished with a team-high 24 kills overall.

In their latter match, Falcons secured a 42-minute win on green over Waska but fell in 41 minutes on red. Denmark’s “Cr1t-” tallied 10 kills across the two maps to lead Falcons.

Meanwhile, PARIVISION beat Nigma Galaxy in 32 minutes on green and added a 33-minute win on red. “No[o]ne-” of Ukraine led the way with 15 kills, including 11 on the first map. PARIVISION then jumped ahead 1-0 against Liquid with a 39-minute win on green before faltering in 33 minutes on red. The Russian “DM” carried PARIVISION with 16 total kills.

Xtreme Gaming tied in both of its matches Wednesday, while Tundra and Waska each won their first match before playing to stalemates in the second.
