Team Falcons and HEROIC became the first two teams to punch their tickets to the playoffs at the PGL Wallachia Season 2 when they finished their group stage runs at 3-0 Sunday in Bucharest, Romania.

Two matches in Sunday’s Round 3 pitted 2-0 teams against each other. Team Falcons swept AVULUS in two maps, winning in 39 minutes on green and 21 minutes on red.

HEROIC, meanwhile, battled past Tundra Esports 2-1. HEROIC prevailed in 26 minutes on green before Tundra responded in 41 minutes on green. HEROIC pulled out the final map in 46 minutes while playing on red.

The $1 million Dota 2 event opened with 16 teams in a modified Swiss-system group stage. The top eight teams will advance to the double-elimination playoffs, while the bottom eight will be eliminated.

All matches are best-of-three except for the best-of-five grand final on Oct. 13. The championship team will pocket $300,000, with the runner-up receiving $175,000.

In other results Sunday, Apex Genesis and Team Waska were the first two teams shown the door when they lost their 0-2 matches.

Infinity rallied to beat Team Waska 2-1; Waska won the first map in 61 minutes on red before Infinity answered with a 39-minute victory on red and a 55-minute win on green.
