DOTA News: BetBoom, Falcons move to 3-0 in DreamLeague Group Stage 2

BetBoom Team swept Shopify Rebellion in a matchup of undefeated teams on Sunday to stay perfect in Group Stage 2 action at DreamLeague Season 22.

The win sets up one final battle between unbeatens, as BetBoom and Team Falcons, the only two teams to start the stage 3-0, are scheduled to square off Monday.

BetBoom beat Shopify Rebellion in 31 minutes on green and 52 minutes on red, while Falcons defeated Team Spirit in 41 minutes on green and 60 minutes on red.

Group Stage 2 features one round robin of the top eight teams to advance, and matches are best-of-three. The playoffs are a four-team, double-elimination bracket. The grand final will be a best-of-five match.

Critical ESL Pro Tour points toward qualification for additional 2024 events are also on the line. The event concludes March 10 at Meltdown London.

In other action Sunday, Gaimin Gladiators swept Aurora 2-0, playing both maps on green and winning in 47 minutes and 40 minutes.

The only match to go the distance was OG’s 2-1 win over Xtreme Gaming. After Xtreme opened with a 39-minute win on red, OG took over and won in 38 minutes and 55 minutes, both times on red.
