Aurora Gaming came from behind to defeat Tundra Esports 2-1 on Monday in a matchup of previously unbeaten teams, with the winner maintaining a share of first place in Group Stage 2 of DreamLeague Season 28.

The victory moved Aurora Gaming to 3-0, the same mark as Team Liquid, who downed Team Falcons 2-0 on Monday.

Tundra Esports slipped to 2-1, tied for third with Xtreme Gaming, who swept PARIVISION 2-0 on Monday.

In the day’s other match, BetBoom Team bested MOUZ 2-0.

The $1 million Dota 2 event began with 16 teams competing in a round-robin stage split into two groups of eight teams. All series consisted of two games, and the top four teams from each group advanced to Group Stage 2, a single round robin featuring best-of-three matches that runs through Friday.

From there, four teams will compete in a double-elimination playoff bracket Saturday and Sunday. The playoff will feature best-of-three matches until the grand final, which will be best-of-five.

The championship team will receive $250,000 in prize money and a $40,000 club reward. The runner-up side will get $100,000 and a $30,000 club reward.

On Monday, Tundra Esports opened with a 25-minute win on red, but Aurora Gaming rallied for a 34-minute victory on green and then a marathon 69-minute triumph on red. Ukraine’s Artem “lorenof” Melnyk logged an 18-8-32 kill-death-assist ratio for Aurora. Bulgaria’s Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov finished at 22-9-28 for Tundra.

Team Liquid took down Team Falcons in 21 minutes on red and 26 minutes on green. Poland’s Michal “Nisha” Jankowski powered Liquid with a 29-1-22 K-D-A ratio. Slovakia’s Oliver “skiter” Lepko ended up at 5-12-6 for Team Falcons.

Xtreme Gaming got past PARIVISION in 38 minutes on red and 34 minutes on green. Wang “Ame” Chunyu of China guided Xtreme Gaming with a 22-4-6 K-D-A ratio. Ukrainian’s Volodymyr “No(o)ne-” Minenko compiled an 8-9-11 K-D-A ratio for PARIVISION.

BetBoom Team defeated MOUZ in 47 minutes on green and 38 minutes on red. Russia’s Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov propelled BetBoom Team with a 22-5-25 K-D-A ratio. The Netherlands’ Remco “Crystallis” Arets amassed a 13-8-9 K-D-A ratio for MOUZ.
