Domantas Sabonis recorded 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for his ninth triple-double of the season to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 122-117 victory over the visiting New York Knicks on Thursday night.

De’Aaron Fox scored 15 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter to help the Kings win for the seventh time in eight games. Malik Monk added 19 points, Trent Lyles had 16 and Kevin Huerter chipped in 14 for Sacramento.

RJ Barrett had 25 points and seven rebounds and Julius Randle amassed 23 points and 10 rebounds as New York lost its second straight game following a season-best nine consecutive victories.

Knicks standout Jalen Brunson aggravated his left foot injury and missed the second half. He scored 19 points in 19 first-half minutes in his return from a two-game absence.

Quentin Grimes scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half for New York.

The Knicks were trailing by nine before Immanuel Quickley drained a 3-pointer and Randle scored consecutive baskets to trim Sacramento’s lead to 115-113 with 47.1 seconds left.

Fox answered with a driving hoop and Lyles converted two free throws to push the lead back to six, and the Kings closed it out.

Sacramento shot 52.4 percent from the field, including 10 of 32 (31.2 percent) from 3-point range. Keegan Murray scored 11 points and Harrison Barnes added 10 for the Kings.

The Knicks made 41.6 percent of their shots and were 13 of 50 (26 percent) from behind the arc. New York had a 58-42 rebounding advantage and owned a 23-6 edge on the offensive boards.

Murray buried a 3-pointer to give the Kings a 79-58 lead with 8:55 left in the third quarter.

New York responded with a 26-10 burst to pull within five in the final minute before Davion Mitchell drove for a layup with 1.9 seconds left to give Sacramento a 91-84 lead.

New York pulled within 92-91 on Obi Toppin’s dunk with 10:27 remaining. A short time later, the Knicks collected four offensive rebounds on one possession before Barrett sent the fifth shot swishing through the net for three points to knot the score at 96 with 8:15 left.

Fox followed with seven straight points as the Kings moved ahead 103-96 with 6:37 to play.

Four-plus minutes later, Lyles converted a three-point play and Sabonis made a free-throw-line jumper as Sacramento increased its lead to 115-106.

The Kings led 69-53 at halftime behind 17 points from Monk.
