Footwear designer of Dior, Thibo Denis has channeled hiking while designing the H-town sandal and the Dean Ankle Boot.
Thibo Denis, the Dior foootwear designer has launched his H-Town Sandal design through the fashion house in a black colorway and a beige colorway. The footwear is inspired by hiking in its construction and in materials used. The sandal is made of calfskin nubuck which combines with technical webbing fabric. This results in the creation of a padded supportive design that makes it easy to slip your feet in. Ropes, reminiscent of those that are used in mountain climbing, form the vamp structure.
Dior adds its CD logo in buckles that ensure that your feet remain in the sandal. Both the insole and outsole are also branded with the logo of the fashion house. The entire sandal is welded to add long life to the expensive sandal. If you love to collect footwear, as much as you can afford, you might update your collection with footwear from the Dior-Birkenstock collection which will be launched before the end of the year.
If you can’t wait till the end of the year and want to add to your boot collection, Dior has also released another new footwear called the Dean Ankle Boot. It is a deluxe version of hiking boots. Made with a combination of materials such as nubuck calfskin, smooth calfskin leather and and technical mesh, these boots also accentuate designer Thibo Denis’ inspiration from hiking.
The boots are currently available in Brown/Ebony/Navy or Natural/Ebony/Burgundy. Both the tongue of the shoe as well its meshed panel sport the fashion house logo with famous CD diamond on the tongue and an embroidered italicized Dior brand on the side. A thick notched rubber sole, padded high uppers as well as a technical rope lace system make the design stand out from other hiking boots. Wear resilience and quality features are also present due to its welded, side-sewn construction.
