Everyone is looking forward to a possible release of the Google Pixel Watch in the October 6 event by Google. However, there might have been a teaser according to many as Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Alphabet, the parent company of Google was seen wearing a watch that could be the new Google Pixel Watch! The CEO of Google rarely wears a watch but there was a Pixel watch that had a yellow (Lemongrass) band on his wrist, in a recent interview.
When Sundar Pichai was interviewed by Kara Swisher at the Vox Media 2022 Code Conference, the wide ranging talk touched on several topics and not on the much awaited debut of the Google Pixel Watch. There were glimpses of the watch on the CEO’s wrist several times during the interview.
Although it is difficult to clearly mention the specs of the Google Pixel Watch before its debut, the following conclusions may be drawn, through glimpses of the watch and through leaks. The watch face on Pichai’s wrist was similar to the ones that were shared on YouTube shared by Front Page Tech, late last year.

A side angle of the Google Pixel Watch seen during the same interview, a few days ago also suggested that the watch seemed to be quite thick, as per the bottom dome that has been made using recycled stainless steel. The glimpses of the watch were not clear enough to show a bottle-cap style crown not was it possible to see the side button above it.
A leaked measurement, taken using calipers, suggested that it was more than 14 mm, while its diameter was more than 40 mm.
Sundar Pichai spoke on various productivity improvements, economic trends, competition and more. He did cite that Google acquired Fitbit so that the company could “build on it and do something more with it” and indicated that it would be integrated with the Google Pixel Watch.
The Google Pixel Watch on Sundar Pichai’s wrist was a teaser and only further leaks or press updates by Google can confirm other features and specs of the much awaited smart watch from Google.
