Next year’s Tour de France will not pass through Paris for the first time due to the 2024 Summer Games taking place in the French capital.
With the Paris Olympics starting on July 26, the 111th edition of the world’s biggest cycling race will start a week earlier than usual in Florence, Italy, on June 29. It will end three weeks later in Nice, France, on July 21.
The 21-stage race will cover 3,492 kilometers (2,170 miles) and 52,320 meters (171,654 feet) in overall elevation. The course includes four summit finishes and two time trials.
