
King Charles III recently bestowed legendary footballer, David Beckham with a knighthood. The British player thanked the king for the honor and was humbled by it. Beckham received the honour at Windsor Castle. He was accompanied by his wife, his children and his parents. He received the Knighthood for Services to Sport and Charity.
The British footballer has been known for his charitable work. He has also been a global Ambassador for sports. He also is a well-known Briton who embodies British culture. Many of his web fans expected him to receive this honor.
David Beckham posted a series of photos on social media as he received the honor and reposted the video from the official royal family website.
Spice girl and fashion designer, Victoria Beckham also posted about the honour her husband, David Beckham received from King Charles. He is now officially, Sir David Beckham while she gets the title, Lady Victoria.

Sir David Beckham’s parents, Ted and Sandra Beckham were also present ceremony and have been seen in photos and so have their children although Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz, who live in Los Angeles, aren’t seen in the photos, and they still appear to be estranged.
Beckham’s family, including his wife Victoria Beckham and children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper celebrated the bestowing of the honor with dinner at the Michelin starred London restaurant owned by their celebrity friend, chef Gordon Ramsay.
Beckham’s wife Victoria and sons Romeo, and Cruz also shared the family photo as well as the video of David Beckham with King Charles.
Many web fans would like to see the family unite. David Beckham continues to post encouraging comments and emojis on his son Brooklyn social media posts. Unfortunately neither Brooklyn nor his wife, Nicola Peltz have responded publicly on the honor bestowed on David Beckham, to date.
