Cyberpunk 2077, a keenly anticipated open world RPG, is a game that is now open for all gamers and the public. Unfortunately, many gamers are saying that it has ruined the gaming experience. Many fans, as per their posts on Twitter, Reddit and other social media platforms, find it an unoptimizable experience on their consoles.
There are many clips online that show these glitches and pop in and they are going viral. Live streams showing base PS4 and XBox One, showcase a number of crashes, erratic gameplay and screen freezes. Strange geometric NPCs and other weird stuff appears live. Although these gamers are not playing with the day one patch, technical issues seem to be present as seen on Twitch and YouTube, on almost all versions of older game consoles.
Fans, playing the game on PCs, have a better experience, with a few glitches. Updating systems drivers takes care of the issues in most cases, though some fans still say that Cyberpunk 2077 is not running smoothly, even on PCs.
The problem in the game has made some in the gaming community to make it into a meme. There are some players who have embraced these problems with dark humor by uploading it on older consoles including a seven-year old one.
CD Projekt Red has not as yet responded to these shortcomings in the game. Before release, the studio had reported that there was extended crunch time, despite earlier promises of disallowing this practice.
