Yes, we are talking about Alphabet (GOOGL) owned Google’s I/O developer event that will be held on Tuesday, May 14, with the keynote to be delivered at 10 a.m. PT. All web fans can watch the event with a ticket at Mountain View, California, or on Google’s website and parent Alphabet’s YouTube channel.

If you are wondering what to expect from Google I/O this May, rest assured that there will be a lot of focus on artificial intelligence. Google’s Gemini AI is perhaps the tool that has received the most attention from the tech giant. Advances in its capabilities are expected to be prominently featured in the developer’s conference.

Alphabet Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai will take centerstage at the event, but the main focus will be AI and Gemini. Google’s Gemini strives to compete directly with Microsoft and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and it has the advantage of Android as its operating system.

As is the norm, the annual developer conference, to be held at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, will showcase Android’s new features, the hardware that supports it, and the software technology that will accompany it.

Google is expected to feature an updated Android Operating System at I/O. Most web fans and developers expect an in-depth look at Android 15. Google released the first beta version of the Android 15 OS, and the tech giant is expected to release Android 15 Beta 2 at I/O 2024.

There will also be many updates on Search, Google Assistant, which is getting additional artificial intelligence features, and, of course, its new developments in Artificial Intelligence and its main AI tool, Gemini. I/O 2024 will also feature Android Auto, Wear OS, and more AI developments.
