
Lululemon has partnered with the National Football League (NFL) to create apparel and accessories for all the 32 teams in the league. The licensed apparel and accessories will be available for both men and women. Lululemon stock surged by almost 2 percent after the announcement.
This is an additional coup for the Vancouver based brand as it has also obtained the license for making apparel for the National Hockey League, a few weeks ago.
Lululemon has launched its officially licensed men and women’s apparel and accessories by reimagining its favorite brands such as Steady State for men and Define, Scuba, and Align for women.
NFL legends such as Joe Montana, Nick Foles, Ryan Clark, and Emmanuel Acho and their families will be featuring in a campaign by Lululemon and NFL. The new campaign is called “Welcome to the Fam Club.”
The newly designed apparel and accessories are available at Fanatics shops and the NFL shop online, stadium shops and team stores from October 28.

Apparel includes leggings, hoodies, quarter-zips and joggers as apparel. One of the accessories available is the Everywhere Belt Bag. All the 32 teams are represented in the initial launch.
Ryan Samuelson, who is the vice president of consumer products at NFL, said that they consider licensed products to be “most tangible way” sports fans can interact with the league.
Lululemon uses premium fabric and is considered as a high-end brand. The NFL apparel has premium prices. The NFL licensed its brand to the leisure apparel brand as quality was a major factor.
