Team Vitality and Team Falcons each secured wins on Monday in the Round 3 high matches to be the first two teams to qualify for the playoffs at the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 event in Romania.

The 16-team Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event begins with a Swiss style format with Saturday’s winners playing Sunday’s Round 2 high matches and the losers playing in the low matches. In Round 3 on Monday, the four 2-0 teams paired off, as did the four 0-2 teams in low matches, and the eight 1-1 teams made up the mid matches.

Two more rounds follow before the eight-team playoff field is set on Wednesday. All matches are best-of-three. The playoffs, which run Feb. 20-22, are single elimination and best-of-three except for the grand final, which is best-of-five.

The $625,000 prize pool awards $225,000 to the winner and $100,000 to the runner-up.

In Monday’s Round 3 high matches, Vitality swept MOUZ with a 13-5 victory on Dust II, followed by a 13-8 win on Inferno.

Falcons dropped the opener to FURIA, 16-14 on Mirage, but rebounded with 13-4 and 13-11 wins on Inferno and Anubis, respectively.

In Round 3 mid matches, Natus Vincere opened with a 13-9 win on Anubis against Aurora Gaming before falling 13-9 on Mirage and then taking the match with a 16-12 overtime victory on Inferno.

FaZe Clan dominated 13-2 on Mirage, but PARIVISION bounced back with a 13-11 win on Ancient and a 13-9 win on Inferno to take the match.

The Mongolz defeated B8 13-9 on Ainceint, then lost 13-7 on Mirage before closing out the match with a hard-fought 19-17 OT victory on Nuke.

FUT Esports swept Astralis with wins on Overpass (13-7) and Mirage (13-4).
