TYLOO announced that YuanZhang “Attacker” Sheng is retiring as a player and will transition to a coaching role for the Chinese team.

“Following a comprehensive evaluation of his competitive background, tactical understanding, and familiarity with the team system, the organization believes Attacker possesses strong potential in a coaching capacity,” the organization said in a statement posted on X. “This transition will allow him to continue contributing to team development in a new role.

We sincerely thank Attacker for his dedication and contributions during his time as a professional player. With a new role and new responsibilities, we look forward to taking the next steps together.

Attacker, 28, has spent multiple stints with TYLOO since first joining the team in August 2014. He left the following year and spent time with three organizations before returning in 2016 and helping TYLOO reach the quarterfinals of DreamHack Masters Malmo.

Attacker departed again in March 2017, before returning for a third stint with TYLOO in 2019. Although he has twice been benched, Attacker did help the team win FISSURE Playground 1 this year.

TYLOO’s current roster includes Yi “JamYoung” Yang, Qianhao “Moseyuh” Chen, Dongkai “Jee” Ji and Jingxiang “Mercury” Wang.
