TYLOO, paiN Gaming and FURIA pulled out 2-1 wins on Wednesday to claim the last three spots in Group Stage 2 at the ESL Pro League Season 21 in Stockholm.

TYLOO rallied past FlyQuest, paiN Gaming overtook Nemiga Gaming and FURIA edged M80 as Group Stage 1 concluded.

The $400,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament seeded eight of its 24 teams straight into Group Stage 2: G2 Esports, Team Spirit, The MongolZ, Team Vitality, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, Team Falcons and Team Liquid.

The other 16 teams began in Group Stage 1, which featured a Swiss System format of best-of-three matches. The top eight teams advance to Group Stage 2, which will also employ a Swiss System format of best-of-three matches.

Eight teams will advance to the single-elimination playoffs. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be best-of-three before the best-of-five grand final on March 16. The winning team will receive $100,000.

On Wednesday, FlyQuest earned a 16-12 overtime win on Ancient before TYLOO captured Anubis 13-8 and Inferno 13-11. Qianhao “Moseyuh” Chen carried the all-Chinese TYLOO squad with 65 kills and a plus-17 kill-death differential. Romania’s Iulian “regali” Harjau logged 50 kills and a plus-2 K-D differential for FlyQuest.

After Nemiga took Train 13-7, paiN prevailed 13-9 on Mirage and 13-11 on Dust II. Brazil’s Lucas “nqz” Soares shined for paiN with 53 kills and a plus-20 K-D differential. Kazakhstan’s Beksultan “khan” Ospan recorded 49 kills and a plus-6 K-D differential for Nemiga.

FURIA sandwiched a 13-6 win on Mirage and a 13-5 victory on Anubis around a 13-4 loss to M80 on Dust II. Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato and Felipe “skullz” Medeiros each posted 49 kills for all-Brazilian FURIA. The United States’ Ethan “reck” Serrano notched 41 kills and a plus-5 K-D differential for M80.

Group Stage 2 is set to begin Friday.
