CSGO News: The MongolZ, Team Spirit move on to final of BLAST Bounty Fall

The MongolZ and Team Spirit advanced to the grand final of the BLAST Bounty Fall event with 2-0 sweeps on Saturday in Malta.

The MongolZ eliminated Team Vitality and Spirit toppled MOUZ in the $480,000 Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

The winning teams will meet in Sunday’s best-of-five grand final.

Eight teams selected from a closed qualifier began the event on Thursday, competing in a single-elimination bracket.

On Saturday, the MongolZ recorded a 13-7 win on Mirage and 13-11 victory on Inferno. Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch posted 42 kills and fellow Mongolian Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold had a plus-17 kills-to-death differential for the winners.

Spirit notched a 16-14 triumph on Ancient and 13-5 win on Mirage. Danil “donk” Kryshkovets totaled 42 kills and fellow Russian Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov had a plus-13 kills-to-death differential for Spirit.
