Team Spirit and Team Vitality completed 2-0 sweeps in the upper-bracket final of their respective groups on Tuesday at the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Spirit blanked HEROIC in Group A while Vitality shut out Astralis in Group B. Both winners have secured spots in the grand final as they await the winners of the lower-bracket finals.

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event begins with a double-elimination group stage, with the field split into four groups of four teams. All matches are best-of-three.

The winners of each group will advance directly to the Fall Final. The four second-place teams proceed to the play-in stage, a pair of single-elimination, best-of-three matches to determine the remaining two berths for the Fall Final.

After prevailing 13-11 on Vertigo, Team Spirit took Anubis 13-6 to send HEROIC to the lower bracket in Group A. Russian Danil “donk” Kryshkovets led Spirit with match bests of 37 kills and a plus-12 kill-death differential.

Shahar “flameZ” Shushan of Israel parlayed 39 kills with a plus-14 K-D differential as Team Vitality earned a 13-7 victory on Nuke before winning 13-11 on Dust II.

Two lower-bracket semifinal matches were also held on Tuesday, with Complexity Gaming ousting OG with a 2-1 win in Group A and Team Falcons topping GamerLegion 2-0 in Group B.

Group-stage action continues Wednesday with four matches:
–FaZe Clan vs. Cloud9 (Group C upper-bracket semifinals)
–G2 Esports vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas (Group C upper-bracket semifinals)
–Natus Vincere vs. BIG (Group D upper-bracket semifinals)
–Virtus.pro vs. Team Liquid (Group D upper-bracket semifinals)

BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 prize pool (money, BLAST Premier points):
1-4. $22,500, 2,400 points, qualifies to Fall Final
5-6. $12,500, 1,800 points, qualifies to Fall Final
