Heroic and OG each earned 2-1 victories Tuesday to advance to their respective grand finals at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Heroic rallied to defeat Evil Geniuses in the Group A lower-bracket final and OG ousted Team Liquid in the Group B lower-bracket final.

Evil Geniuses opened with a 16-9 win on Nuke, but Heroic cruised to 16-2 and 16-5 wins on Overpass and Mirage, respectively. Denmark’s Martin “stavn” Lund led Heroic with 59 kills and a plus-24 kills-to-deaths differential.

OG opened with a 16-12 win on Mirage. After Liquid countered with a 16-8 decision on Ancient, OG advanced with a 16-10 win on Overpass. Russia’s Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov paced OG with 63 kills and a plus-22 differential.

A prize pool of $177,498 will be distributed to the 12 participants in the Spring event, with $27,500 going to the top three finishers along with qualification for the Spring Final later this season.

The action continues Wednesday with Natus Vincere battling Ninjas in Pyjamas in the Group C lower-bracket final, followed by Heroic meeting Team Vitality in the Group A grand final.
