MOUZ and Team Spirit each recorded a sweep to advance to the semifinals of the playoffs in the BLAST Rivals Spring event on Friday in Copenhagen, Denmark.

MOUZ dispatched FaZe Clan, 2-0, after posting a 13-11 victory on Dust II and 13-2 triumph on Mirage.

Finland’s Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo had 44 kills and a plus-25 kills-to-death differential for MOUZ, who will challenge Team Falcons on Saturday.

Team Spirit notched a 2-0 win over Wildcard after securing a 13-7 victory on Anubis and 13-2 triumph on Dust II.

Russian Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov had 41 kills and a plus-30 kills-to-death differential for Team Spirit, who will face Team Vitality in the semifinals on Saturday.

The eight-team, $350,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament began with the teams split into two double-elimination groups.

The winners of each group moved to the playoff semifinals. The group runners-up headed to the quarterfinals as high seeds, and the third-place teams landed in the quarterfinals as low seeds. The fourth-place teams in each group were eliminated.

The single-elimination playoffs run Friday through Sunday. All group-stage matches and playoff matches are best-of-three except for the grand final, which will be best-of-five. The champion team will receive $125,000, and the runner-up will get $75,000.
