MOUZ earned a dominating sweep of Team Vitality to take the grand final and championship of the ESL Pro League Season 19 playoffs Sunday in Saint Julian’s, Malta.

All five of MOUZ’s players finished with positive kills-to-deaths differentials over the course of the day.

In addition to the championship of the 19-day event itself, MOUZ took home the $170,000 winner’s share of the $750,000 purse and qualifies for the IEM Cologne 2024 event.

The action began on Inferno, where MOUZ took an early 9-2 lead before earning a 13-9 win as four players finished with positive K-D differentials. Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek of Poland paced the winners with 20 kills (20-17), while teammate Adam “torzsi” Torzsas of Hungary was plus-7 (16-9).

Vitality’s kills leader was Shahar “flameZ” Shushan of Israel with 18.

On the second map, Mirage, MOUZ took a 10-3 lead and won 13-8, once again with four players finishing with positive K-D ratios. Siuhy had the best differential at 17-11 (plus-6), while Dorian “xertioN” Berman of Israel led the way with 18 kills.

Lotan “Spinx” Giladi of Israel led Vitality with 19 kills and a plus-4 differential.

The championship was closed out in dominating fashion on Nuke, with MOUZ opening a 10-2 lead and earning the victory 13-5. All five players finished with positive K-D differentials while all of Vitality’s team members finished in the negative. XertioN finished 22-10 to lead the way, while siuhy was plus-10 (16 kills).

Siuhy finished plus-19 over the three maps (53-34), while xertioN was plus-15 (56-41). Spinx finished plus-2 (46-44).

The $750,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event began with 32 teams broken up into four groups of eight. Group-stage winners advanced to the quarterfinals; runners-up advanced to the Round of 12 as the high seeds; third-place teams advanced to the Round of 16 as the high seeds; and fourth-place teams advanced to the Round of 16 as the low seeds.
