CSGO News: MOUZ sweeps Team Spirit to win BetBoom Dacha Belgrade

MOUZ continued to ride their hot streak Sunday, earning another sweep to take home the championship at the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 event with a 3-0 win over Team Spirit.

At the $500,000 Counter-Strike 2 event in Serbia, MOUZ finished undefeated to earn the $300,000 grand prize.

Poland’s Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek racked up 52 kills to finish plus-19 on the day, leading MOUZ in both categories. Dorian “xertioN” Berman of Israel added 51 kills, while Sweden’s Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin had 44.

A 13-11 opening victory on Vertigo was the closest MOUZ was pushed all day. xertioN notched 18 kills in the win, while siuhy finished plus-4. Russia’s Danil “donk” Kryshkovets applied pressure for Team Spirit with 23 kills; he led Spirit with 55 kills on the day.

On Map 2, MOUZ won 13-9 on Ancient. Four MOUZ players finished with positive K-D ratios in the win, led by Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo of Finland and his 19-12 K-D. Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov of Russia had 16 kills (plus-3) for Spirit.

MOUZ closed out the victory with a resounding 13-4 win on the final map, Mirage. siuhy had a dominant stat line, finishing plus-14 (21-7). Teammate Adam “torzsi” Torzsas of Hungary was plus-9 (16-7).

Eight teams started in the Counter-Strike 2 tournament, with two groups of four teams battling in a double-elimination format. The top two teams in each group advanced to the single-elimination playoffs.
