CSGO News: MOUZ move rifler JDC to bench

The MOUZ Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team benched starting rifler Jon “JDC” de Castro.

The benching, announced Wednesday, comes amid reports that MOUZ are close to making a pair of significant moves. MOUZ reportedly are close to signing in-game leader Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek to replace veteran Australian captain Christopher “dexter” Nong, and have designs on OG Esports’ benched star AWPer Abdul “degster” Gasanov to replace Adam “torzsi” Torzsas.

“As of today, (JDC) will be moving to the bench,” MOUZ wrote on Twitter. “Thank you, Jon, for all the effort you put into MOUZ NXT and MOUZ.”

JDC joined MOUZ’s organization in June 2021. The 23-year-old German hasn’t been too pleased with his performance of late, however, and said as much during a lengthy post on Twitter.

“I’m unsatisfied with my own individual showing during the period in MOUZ, even though I had some solid tournaments and finished off on a good note in (IEM) Dallas,” JDC wrote. “I am extremely motivated to show my skills in a new environment and allowed to talk to teams.”

MOUZ’s roster consists of dexter, torzsi, Slovakia’s David “frozen” Cernansky and Israel’s Dorian “xertioN” Berman. Denmark’s Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen is the coach.
