CSGO News: MOUZ, ENCE win berths in CS Asia Championships semis

MOUZ and ENCE advanced to the semifinals of the $500,000 CS Asia Championships with victories Saturday in Shanghai, China.

In its quarterfinal contest, MOUZ topped Lynn Vision Gaming 13-3 on Overpass and 13-7 on Inferno. Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo of Finland led the way for MOUZ with 41 kills against 17 deaths for a +24 advantage.

In Saturday’s other quarterfinal, ENCE eliminated Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-1. ENCE jumped out to the lead by winning 13-8 on Nuke, but NiP came back to tie by taking Overpass by the same score. ENCE finished the match with a 13-6 triumph on Ancient.

Guy “Nertz” Iluz of Israel had 47 kills and 35 deaths to lead ENCE.

On Sunday, Mouz will face Astralis and ENCE will play FaZe Clan in the semifinals. The grand final will follow in the best-of-three contests.

The winner of the grand final will earn $250,000, with the runner-up taking home $100,000.
