Heroic and Team Vitality each remained undefeated by winning their respective Round 3 High matches Sunday in the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: Legends Stage in France.

Heroic (3-0) posted a 2-1 victory over Team Liquid (2-1), while Vitality (3-0) breezed to a 2-0 win over Monte (2-1).

Heroic sandwiched a 16-11 win on Inferno and a 16-12 victory on Ancient around a 16-11 setback on Mirage.

Vitality had an easier time of it versus Monte, posting a 16-10 triumph on Anubis and a 16-13 victory on Nuke.

Also on Sunday, Natus Vincere (2-1), GamerLegion (2-1), Into The Breach (2-1) and Apeks (2-1) won their respective Round 3 Mid matches.

Natus Vincere posted a 16-9 win on Overpass over Ninjas in Pyjamas (1-2) and GamerLegion also won on Overpass, notching a 16-11 victory over Fnatic (1-2). Into The Breach seized a 16-7 win on Vertigo over ENCE (1-2), and Apeks collected a 16-6 victory on Ancient over Bad News Eagles (1-2).

In Round 3 Low matches, FaZe Clan (1-2) recorded a 2-0 win over 9INE (0-3) and G2 Esports (1-2) notched a 2-0 victory over FURIA Esports (0-3). FaZe Clan won 16-10 on Inferno and 16-8 on Anubis, while G2 triumphed 16-8 triumph on Inferno and 16-7 on Mirage.

The $1.25 million BLAST.tv Paris Major runs May 8-21, with 24 teams playing offline in Paris. The champion will earn not only a $500,000 payday and 3,500 BLAST Premier points, but automatic qualification into both IEM Cologne 2023 and the BLAST Premier World Final.

The Challengers Stage is using the Swiss System format, in which teams are divided after opening-match results into “high” and “low” matches. Elimination and advancement matches are best-of-three, and all other matches are best-of-one. The top eight teams advance to the Legends Stage; the bottom eight are eliminated.

After the Legends Stage, which will also employ the Swiss System with 16 teams, the Champions Stage will be a single-elimination bracket with all matches best-of-three. The final is scheduled for May 21.

Monday’s schedule:
Round 4: High matches — Natus Vincere vs. Monte; Apeks vs. GamerLegion; Team Liquid vs. Into The Breach
Round 4: Low matches — ENCE vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas; FaZe Clan vs. Bad News Eagles; Fnatic vs. G2 Esports
