FaZe Clan acquired Counter-Strike 2 star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostlyiev in a blockbuster move Monday.
The 27-year-old Ukrainian arrives on loan from Natus Vincere and replaces the benched Helvjis “broky” Saukants.
FaZe Clan said s1mple will participate in the Intel Extreme Masters Dallas starting May 19 and the BLAST.tv Austin Major starting June 7.

One of the most decorated Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players of all-time, s1mple joins a FaZe Clan roster featuring Finn “karrigan” Andersen, Havard “rain” Nygaard, Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski and David “frozen” Cernansky.
He was named the CS:GO Player of the Year in 2018, 2021 and 2022 and was runner-up in 2019 and 2020.
