3DMAX edged The MongolZ 2-1 after taking the decisive third map 13-9 on Nuke. After 3DMAX opened with a 13-10 win on Inferno, The MongolZ equalized by taking Ancient 13-5. Bryan “Maka” Canda guided all-French 3DMAX with 57 kills and a plus-14 K-D differential. Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch ended up with 46 kills and a plus-8 K-D differential for the all-Mongolian MongolZ.

Aurora pulled level with a 16-14 overtime win on Dust II, then sealed the series by taking Overpass 13-9.
