Evil Geniuses, looking to fill the shoes of the departed Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov, promoted Jerric “wiz” Jiang on Sunday.
He’ll debut with the main squad at the BLAST Premier Spring groups after posting a +286 kill differential for EG Black last season.
EG have struggled to take home championship hardware of late, undergoing a retooling partway through the 2022 season as a result.
Jadan “HexT” Postma, Daniel “Vorborg” Vorborg and Sanzhar “neaLaN” Iskhakov joined the squad in August.
Wiz joins a lineup that also includes Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Timothy “autimatic” Ta.
Brehze is the elder statesman of the group, having joined EG in September 2019.
