ENCE topped Fnatic 2-1 on Saturday to snag Group B’s second and final playoff berth at the Champion of Champions Tour Season 1 Global Finals.

GamerLegion secured the group’s other playoff berth thanks to a 2-1 victory over Fnatic in a winners match. The loss sent Fnatic to the decider match, where it collided with ENCE after the latter eliminated Gaimin Gladiators from playoff contention with a 2-0 win on Friday.

The CCT Season 1 Global Finals split 16 teams into four double-elimination groups of four. The top two teams out of each group will advance to the single-elimination playoff bracket. All matches are best-of-three until the grand final on Thursday, which is best-of-five.

The winner will receive half of the $500,000 prize pool.

On Saturday, ENCE prevailed 13-8 on Anubis before Fnatic took Ancient by the same score. ENCE then squeaked by on Dust II, 16-14, to lock down the playoff berth. Poland’s Olek “hades” Miskiewicz led the winners with 61 kills and a plus-14 kill-death differential.

GamerLegion also started their match against Fnatic on the right foot, picking up a 13-11 victory on Ancient. After dropping Anubis 13-8, GamerLegion polished off a 2-0 performance in group play with a 13-11 win on Mirage.

Timur “FL4MUS” Marev of Russia paired 55 kills with a plus-seven K-D to pace GamerLegion.

Meanwhile, Group C action began on Saturday, with AMKAL ESPORTS blanking paiN Gaming 2-0 and Team Liquid edging OG 2-1 in opening matches.

Wins on Inferno (13-8) and Nuke (16-14) got AMKAL past paiN. Liquid sandwiched victories on Anubis (13-5) and Inferno (13-10) around a 13-5 setback on Ancient.

The tournament continues on Sunday with four matches:
–paiN Gaming vs. OG (Group C elimination match)
–AMKAL ESPORTS vs. Team Liquid (Group C winners match)
–Winner of elimination match vs. loser of winners match (Group C decider match)
–Astralis vs. BIG (Group D opening match)

Teams already qualified for playoffs:
Group A
–Eternal Fire
–Aurora Gaming
Group B
–GamerLegion
–ENCE
