The popular kitchen appliances brand Cosori is recalling two million air fryers after getting about 205 reports of the air fryers smoking, burning, overheating, and catching fire. Property loss and superficial burn injuries were the cited injuries.
The recall was made public on Thursday, and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission urged users to stop using the products immediately. Because the fryers have a wire link that is prone to overheating, there is a risk that they could catch fire and cause burns or other injuries to users.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission warned people that the air fryers, which were sold in the US, Canada, and Mexico, pose a fire danger. The closed-end crimp connectors in the recalled air fryers, which are in charge of creating electrical connections between specific wires, can overheat in extremely rare instances, according to Cosori, who stated in a statement that this “poses fire and burn risks.”
